Parent Organization

The Sams Community Organization (SCO) is comprised of parents and community members in Sams Valley who wish to support the educational experience for Sams Valley Elementary students by:

1. Providing an organization through which the parents, school, and teachers can work cooperatively toward school improvement.

2. Providing financial support, supplies and/or equipment for programs funded outside the annual school budget.

3. Providing opportunities for school fundraising through community events.

If you would like to be involved in the SCO, there are a few ways to do it. First, come to our SCO meetings! Look for our meeting places and times on Parent Square and Facebook.  You are always welcome to come! Second, volunteer at an event!  SCO volunteers are what make each event successful. 

Here are some of the events the SCO plans and helps with:

• Sams Valley Elementary Carnival and Raffle
• Valentine bouquet sales at Rainey's Corner Market
• Penguin Patch Holiday Store for Students
• Teacher Appreciation Week
• Classified Appreciation Week

None of this would happen without parent support! WE NEED YOU to help the SCO continue all of these amazing SVE activities and traditions. PLEASE consider participating in the Sams Community Organization!
